Closed size is 6.5" x 5" (16.5 cm x 12.7 cm) -- fits easily into a purse or backpack.

This unique journal features reclaimed chenille upholstery fabric and handmade cotton bias binding. The fabric is new, but was destined for the landfill. My friend saved it from that fate and now it has a new life as a luxurious book cover.

There are pockets inside for two pens, or several pencils or even markers. The book is held securely in place with a pocket on the left and a strap on the right. I am including a 200 page, four subject book. It is lined and wire bound so that it lays flat when you are taking notes, making lists, jotting down phone numbers, or journaling to go with those great photos you just took.

It closes with a pair of buttons from my button stash (you have one of these too?) and an elastic.
