Art Journal Prompt: Hair
Instructions:
Use hair in your page today. It can be on a face (like I did) or animal, or even in your favorite paint brush. Show us some hair!
Example Page:
How this example was done:
| First Step – Background. Mine was already done. It’s left over paint from a painting I was working on. A mix of payne’s gray and ultramarine blue – scrubbed over the page with glazing medium. It looks like indigo denim… love this color.
|
| Second step – Embellishments. I painted a face on cardstock and cut it out – along with two columns.
|
| Third step – Collage. I put on the embellishments with gel medium
|
| Fourth step – Journaling. Used my favorite dip pen to do some journaling with white acrylic ink.
|
| Fifth step – Outlining. My final steps were to put on some eyelashes with a pit marker. Then I used my liquid ink pen to outline the eyes.
|
Supplies used today:
- pitt artist pens
- pilot liquid ink pen
- dip pen nibs
- acrylic ink
- neocolor II watersoluble crayons
