Art Journal Prompt: Best Time of Day
Instructions:
Journal about your Best Time of Day. Illustrate it, write about it… whatever works for you.
Example Page:
How this example was done:
Here’s the video of how I did my page:
| First step – Background.
|
| Second step – Painting The Scene. Layers Layers Layers. It takes layers to do anything… if you don’t do the layers you won’t be as happy with the results.
|
| Third step – Journaling. I used my dip pen and delicious metallic blue ink to do the title and journaling.
|
Supplies used today:
- masking tape
- dip pen nibs
- acrylic ink
- liquid acrylic paint
- gesso
- glazing liquid
A Word from Tee:
Sometimes I just want to PAINT! Don’t think you can’t do this…. grab a brush and try. That’s what your journal is all about.. pushing your limits and finding yourself.
What’s that you say??
I LOVE hearing from you guys.. .however I got a few notes that people didn’t find a way to leave comments on the posts.

Look down below this message where you see something like this…. Click where it says “Comments equal love!” and you’ll open the comment form. The other thing you can do is click on the post title at the top of the page… then the comments will all be shown on the page with the post.
I especially love this page. I love watching your art journaling vids. TFS!

ReplyDelete@Joan Thank you Joan! I love the things I'm seeing on your blog... all the bright colors of spring are finding their way into your paintings!
ReplyDelete@Dianna Thank you Dianna. *shrugs* Even if they'd told me there were rules about the journals.. I probably wouldn't follow 'em! *wink*
