How I created my page:
I am finalizing plans for the art journal workshop next Friday. Where better than my journal to write my lists?
| First step – Sketch Pencil – I used my stubby pencil to draw my stuff Pen – I used a pitt pen to redraw over the pencil lines. Notice that I “restated” my lines. Ever heard that before??? It simply means to go over them more than one time. A lot of people will do that in pencil but they are afraid to do that in pen because it will look.. “messy”. Well honey.. go for it. Make it messy!
|
| Second step – Color. I used watercolor and my waterbrush to add washes to the page and sketched elements.
|
| Third step – Lists. I wrote out my lists on the page and am not worried at all about whether or not the lists cover the sketches. that’s ok.. this is my daily journal. It’s a place I can spill my thoughts and work things out in my head. |
Supplies used today:
- pitt artist pens
- waterbrush
– did you get these yet?
- artists' watercolor field box set
