Art Journal Prompt: Friends
Instructions:
Make a page about new friends or old.. or both today.

How I created my page:
| First step – Sketch. I did a restated outline of a heart in watercolor pencil then wet it with a brush and water to blend the color.

| Second step – Color the Heart. I added two shades of pink neocolor to the heart for shading.

| Third step – Outer color and a bit of journaling.

We had an incredible time at the workshop today. The gals of SoMMA and the ones who came who were not members are SOOOOO very talented. We made the Snappy Li’l Journals in the class and created backgrounds on the papers before we cut them to fit. Then I had the ladies exchange some of the papers so that they went home with a variety of background papers in their new 16 page journals. (8 folded sheets).
Francesca (I told you about that wonderful fireball right?) took pictures and is going to share them with me so we’ll get them up for you guys to see in the next day or so.
Liz Rosky gave me a GREAT idea for a two day prompt for us to try. So we’ll do that next week. It’s going to be EXCITING~
Hope you don’t mind my simple page. LOL I’ll be adding more doodles and things to the heart.. maybe even doing a full zentangle inside there.
