When we moved a few of our photo frames were broken. Well... one of them was a desk frame. You know the kind with that hinged board on the back to make it stand up. Well I just couldn't throw out that back. I have NO idea why not. I just knew I could use it one day.
Well today is the day. I pulled it out and collaged on LOTS of layers of papers and scrap painted bits. On top of that I painted a sweet little guy. I honor the wisdom that comes with age. Where others may see lines and wrinkles, I see knowing eyes and a life well lived.
