Played today with my neocolors in my journal.  Vicky gave me a very special award on Facebook today and this was how I felt afterward.

 

Heartsong by Tee

Steps:

• Sketched the heart and wings
• masked out some stuff with contact cement
• scribbled in some neocolors and blended with a brush
• outlined with charcoal and smudged with fingers and water
• more lines with ink added
• splattered watercolor on the page
• added more depth with inktense pencils around the wing
• rubbed out the contact cement

Supplies used today:

• contact cement 
• dip pen nibs
• acrylic ink
• waterbrush
• artists' watercolor field box set
• neocolor II water-soluble crayons
• inktense pencils 

Earlier today I played around on the digi painting tool again.  More layers makes a difference but I still think it's got more of a learning curve for me.

OH and this is my own eye color.
